The last episode of Game of Thrones drew more than 12 million viewers, and members of the cast did something very special for one of them.
Last week, 88-year-old superfan Claire Walton, who was ill and living in a hospice facility, mentioned to her caregivers that she'd love to stick around long enough to see the third episode and maybe meet one of the show's stars.
That's all the staff at HopeHealth in Providence, Rhode Island, needed to hear. They immediately got to work on trying to make it happen for her.
They made some calls and pulled some strings and before they knew it, they were able to cobble together a video compilation of 10 of the actors sending their well-wishes to Claire.
Claire watched the video Sunday morning and was very touched. She then got to see the episode Sunday night. Sadly, but peacefully, she died on Monday. (E!)
