South African Business Uses Maggots as Basis for Ice Cream

Gourmet Grubb operates out of Cape Town University of Technology in South Africa and they've come up with a a new ice cream that they say is more eco-friendly.

Flavors like cocoa or honey are tossed into the ice cream making machine along with the main ingredient...fly larvae. Otherwise known as maggots.

They admit it may not appeal to everyone.
