Dominican Doctors say David Ortiz is out of danger after he had to be rushed to a hospital in Santo Domingo due to be being shot on Sunday night at a club.
Big Papi is said to be heavily sedated and will be in intensive care for the next 24 hours after a surgery which lasted six hours. During the surgery doctors say they had to remove his gallbladder and part of his colon intestine. His live was also damaged.
The MLB legend was shot in the back and the bullet came out through his stomach 🙏🏽
