Let's all congratulate Jordin Sparks! The singer has revealed to PEOPLE that she's now married to model Dana Isaiah and she's pregnant with their first child!
This is an amazing moment in Sparks' life. While speaking to the publication, she said: โWeโre both really excited.โ The American Idol alum added about her husband. โHeโs been like, โI want to shout it from the mountain tops!โ Weโre really proud to be married to each other and to be celebrating this.โ
The newly married couple started dating in April. Then on July 16, they couple eloped in Hawaii, as they were surrounded by close friends and family. โIt just more solidifies the whole team sentiment of a relationship,โ the recording artist added. โYou know youโre still individuals, but at the same time everything is about โweโ and โusโ as opposed to โyouโ and โI.'โ
Speaking about their unborn bundle on the way, Spark continued: โItโs been really crazy because everything changes. Once we got over the initial shock of it, now again just like it is with the marriage, to be able to share that this amazing thing is happening, itโs such a great thing. We did this together!โ
Sparks definitely deserves this love. In the past couple of years, she's gone through some messy public breakups with fellow recording artists. So, she purposely wasn't looking to be in another relationship... And that's when she found her future hubby.
โIโd gone through a crazy time last year, so I was just like โYou know what? Iโm good. Iโm going to stay single. Iโm just not going to look,'โ Sparks said. โItโs amazing that that phrase โWhen you donโt look for it, thatโs when it comesโ โฆ he just showed up at my door.โ
The star added: โIโm extremely grateful because life is nuts. This is the best part so far because I have [Dana] and I have this little one and I have a new family. Iโm the most content Iโve ever been in my life.โ
