The California Highway Patrol is looking for someone who shot at three cars on Sacramento-area freeways, Monday night.
The first shooting took place at westbound I-80 east of Watt Avenue. No one in the vehicle was hurt, CHP said.
The second shooting happened on WB I-80, east of Longview Drive, where a 55-year-old woman was wounded by gunfire.
A 20-year-old man later was also shot and wounded on the NB Interstate 5 off-ramp to Del Paso Boulevard.
The CHP says the two victims are expected to survive.
For several hours on Monday night, CHP closed I-80 from Madison Avenue to Longview and the I-5 ramp to Del Paso for an investigation.
The vehicle of the suspect is described as a dark-colored, four-door sedan.
